Terms of Service
These terms govern your access to and use of SocialClaw, including the website, dashboard, iOS app, scheduling tools, media hosting, API, CLI, agent-facing interfaces, billing flows, and provider connection flows. By creating an account, connecting a provider account, buying a plan, using the iOS app, or otherwise using SocialClaw, you agree to these terms.
Service description
SocialClaw is a user-directed social media scheduling and publishing service. Customers use it to connect supported social accounts, upload and host media, plan and schedule posts, publish content through third-party provider APIs, inspect delivery status, and manage workspace usage. SocialClaw may offer web, iOS, API, CLI, automation, or agent-facing interfaces as access methods to the same service.
SocialClaw does not own or operate X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, WordPress, Discord, Telegram, Apple, Google, Meta, or any other third-party platform or app store. Those services remain governed by their own terms, policies, review decisions, rate limits, availability, account actions, and technical rules.
Accounts, workspaces, and authority
You are responsible for keeping your SocialClaw account, workspace access, API keys, devices, and credentials secure. You must promptly revoke or rotate API keys if exposure is suspected. If you use SocialClaw for an employer, client, agency, brand, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization and to connect, schedule, publish, and manage content for the accounts you use with SocialClaw.
You are responsible for all activity in your workspace, including activity by invited members, contractors, automation systems, agents, and applications using your API keys or connected accounts.
Customer responsibilities
- use only accounts, pages, channels, sites, communities, devices, and Apple IDs you are authorized to control
- comply with each connected platform's terms, content rules, developer policies, advertising rules, commerce rules, disclosure requirements, and rate limits
- protect workspace API keys and rotate them if exposure is suspected
- review scheduled content, destination accounts, privacy settings, publish times, links, disclosures, tags, and media before publication
- ensure uploaded, scheduled, generated, or published content is lawful, accurate, properly authorized, and does not infringe third-party rights
- maintain any required rights, licenses, releases, consents, permissions, and regulatory disclosures for your content and campaigns
- honor takedown requests, platform moderation actions, privacy requests, and deletion obligations that apply to your content or accounts
Customer content
You retain ownership of content you upload, schedule, submit, or publish through SocialClaw. You grant SocialClaw a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, transcode, preview, process, transmit, publish, display, and otherwise use that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, improve, and operate SocialClaw and to complete actions you request.
You represent that you have all rights needed for the content you submit and for SocialClaw to process and publish it as instructed. SocialClaw may remove or restrict content, connected accounts, schedules, media, or workspace access where SocialClaw reasonably believes content is unlawful, abusive, infringing, unsafe, fraudulent, in violation of these terms, or likely to create risk for SocialClaw, users, providers, or the public.
Acceptable use
You may not use SocialClaw to break the law, violate platform rules, evade provider restrictions, send spam, publish deceptive or harmful content, impersonate others, infringe intellectual property, distribute malware, harass people, manipulate engagement, scrape or exfiltrate data without authorization, probe or attack SocialClaw systems, overload the service, reverse engineer non-public parts of the service except where law permits, or resell or sublicense SocialClaw except through a written agreement with SocialClaw.
Provider dependencies
SocialClaw depends on third-party provider APIs, account permissions, app review decisions, OAuth scopes, webhook delivery, content moderation systems, device software, network access, and hosting infrastructure. Provider outages, permission changes, review requirements, app approval status, unavailable scopes, expired or revoked tokens, account restrictions, policy changes, rate limits, media processing limits, and moderation decisions can affect whether a connection works, whether a post is accepted, when it appears, how it appears, whether analytics are available, or whether content remains live.
A paid plan gives you access to the SocialClaw features, workspace limits, and usage allowances included in that plan while your subscription is active. Because publishing depends on systems and decisions outside SocialClaw's control, a plan does not include or imply guaranteed third-party platform availability, provider API uptime, account standing, reach, impressions, engagement, delivery timing, content acceptance, analytics completeness, or continued access to any external platform feature.
Scheduling, publishing, and automation
SocialClaw attempts to process scheduled posts and publishing jobs according to your instructions, workspace limits, and available provider integrations. Scheduled times, retries, status checks, previews, validations, and analytics are operational tools, not guarantees. You remain responsible for monitoring important campaigns, confirming live publication, preserving copies of important content, and using provider-native tools where a time-sensitive post or legal obligation requires extra certainty.
If you use SocialClaw with automation, APIs, agents, scripts, or third-party tools, you are responsible for the prompts, instructions, credentials, content, timing, and actions those systems send to SocialClaw. SocialClaw may throttle, reject, queue, pause, or block requests to protect the service, comply with law or provider rules, enforce plan limits, or reduce operational risk.
iOS app and Apple App Store terms
If you download or use the SocialClaw iOS app from the Apple App Store, these terms apply to your use of the app and the SocialClaw service. Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for SocialClaw, the app, the service, content, support, maintenance, warranties, claims, investigations, or disputes related to SocialClaw, except as required by applicable law and Apple's own terms.
Subject to these terms, SocialClaw grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the SocialClaw iOS app on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and applicable App Store usage rules. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the app except to the extent applicable law permits despite this restriction.
You represent that you are not located in a country or region subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated by the U.S. government as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not listed on a U.S. government restricted-party list. You must also comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this App Store section and may enforce this section against you.
If the iOS app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price for the app, if any, as required by Apple policies and applicable law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for SocialClaw. Support requests should be sent to hello@getsocialclaw.com.
Suspension and termination
SocialClaw may suspend, limit, or terminate access to all or part of the service for abuse, fraud, nonpayment, chargebacks, security risk, legal risk, provider policy risk, excessive operational load, infringement allegations, or material violations of these terms. SocialClaw may also pause or remove specific connected accounts, jobs, media, posts, API keys, or workspace features where needed to protect the service or comply with provider rules.
You may stop using the service by canceling your subscription where applicable, disconnecting connected accounts, revoking workspace API keys, deleting content where available, and ceasing use of SocialClaw. Termination does not relieve you of amounts already due or obligations that by their nature should survive, including payment obligations, ownership rights, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and dispute terms.
Billing, renewals, and cancellations
SocialClaw may offer free, trial, paid, monthly, yearly, promotional, App Store, and web-billed plans. Plan names, features, limits, prices, included accounts, included posts, storage, trial availability, and supported providers may vary by billing channel, region, account status, promotion, and product version. SocialClaw may change, add, remove, or limit plans and features over time, subject to applicable law and any notices required by the billing provider.
Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. By starting a subscription, you authorize the applicable billing provider to charge the applicable subscription fees, renewal charges, and taxes using your selected payment method. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the then-current billing period unless required by law or allowed by the billing provider.
If you subscribe on the web, billing may be processed by SocialClaw's merchant of record or billing partner, including Lemon Squeezy. You can cancel or manage web-billed subscriptions through the billing portal, dashboard, purchase email, or support where available.
If you subscribe through Apple's in-app purchase system, payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple ID may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel App Store subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings. SocialClaw does not receive your full payment card details for App Store purchases.
Free trials and introductory offers are available only when shown in the purchase flow and may depend on Apple ID, workspace, region, billing channel, product, plan, and prior eligibility. Unless canceled before the trial ends, a trial may convert to a paid auto-renewing subscription at the displayed price and interval.
Refund policy
Except where required by law, fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable once paid. If you believe a web-billed charge was made in error, contact hello@getsocialclaw.com with the purchase email, order reference, and a short explanation. SocialClaw may grant refunds, credits, or service adjustments in its discretion. If your payment was processed by Lemon Squeezy or another merchant of record or payment partner, that provider may also issue, deny, or administratively process refunds, credits, chargeback responses, and tax adjustments under its own policies, card network rules, and legal obligations.
If your purchase was made through Apple in-app purchase, refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple's refund process and policies. SocialClaw may help verify subscription status or troubleshoot access, but Apple controls App Store billing, refund decisions, and Apple ID subscription management.
If applicable law gives you a cooling-off or withdrawal right for digital services, you agree that service access may begin immediately after purchase. To the extent permitted by law, you request immediate performance and acknowledge that your withdrawal right may be reduced or lost once digital services are supplied.
Taxes and payment issues
Prices may exclude taxes unless stated otherwise. Taxes, currency conversion, app store charges, payment provider fees, and bank charges may vary by region and payment method. If a payment fails, is reversed, is disputed, or becomes past due, SocialClaw may downgrade, suspend, or terminate paid access after reasonable attempts to reconcile the billing status.
Intellectual property and feedback
SocialClaw and its software, interfaces, workflows, designs, documentation, trademarks, logos, and underlying technology are owned by SocialClaw or its licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership of SocialClaw intellectual property to you. If you send suggestions, ideas, bug reports, feature requests, or other feedback, SocialClaw may use it without restriction or compensation to you.
Privacy
SocialClaw's handling of personal data, connected account data, media, provider tokens, sign-in data, analytics, and deletion requests is described in the Privacy Policy. By using SocialClaw, you acknowledge that SocialClaw will process data as described there and as needed to provide the service.
Service changes
SocialClaw may update, improve, remove, restrict, rename, or discontinue features, integrations, limits, APIs, plans, or interfaces. SocialClaw may also release beta, preview, experimental, or limited-availability features that are less stable, may change without notice, and may not be supported indefinitely.
Disclaimers
SocialClaw is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SocialClaw disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, reliability, accuracy, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, security, and compatibility with any third-party platform.
SocialClaw does not guarantee that content will be published at a particular time, accepted by a provider, remain available, produce any audience, sales, reach, impressions, engagement, revenue, or business outcome, or avoid moderation, rejection, delay, removal, account action, or policy enforcement by third-party platforms.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SocialClaw and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of revenue, goodwill, data, content, business opportunity, audience, followers, account access, platform standing, or anticipated savings, even if SocialClaw has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SocialClaw's total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the service or these terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to SocialClaw for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SocialClaw and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your content, your connected accounts, your workspace activity, your use of SocialClaw, your violation of these terms, your violation of law or third-party rights, or your violation of third-party platform terms or policies.
Legal compliance
You are responsible for complying with laws and regulations that apply to your use of SocialClaw, including advertising, consumer protection, privacy, data protection, intellectual property, export control, sanctions, employment, election, healthcare, financial promotion, sweepstakes, and industry-specific rules. SocialClaw is not a substitute for legal, compliance, marketing, or platform-policy advice.
Changes to these terms
SocialClaw may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page. If changes are material, SocialClaw may provide additional notice where practical or legally required. Continued use of SocialClaw after updated terms become effective means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law and disputes
Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws applicable where SocialClaw Inc. is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located where SocialClaw Inc. is organized or has its principal place of business will have jurisdiction over disputes, except where applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring claims elsewhere.
